“Only remark is to enable electricity in the rooms during the day without interruption for fan and charging phones (solar panel with batteries for example). It was very hot and hard to rest in the room”

“We had the best stay! We booked the airport transfers, tours, and all meals, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and had wonderful AC—a true relief after a day of exploring! All of the staff were so helpful, welcoming, and courteous. Our tour guide, Diego, was incredibly knowledgeable, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. Every tour was a fantastic experience! The pool and swim-up bar were perfect for a midday break....

“Staying at TRC offers total immersion into the jungle: we bathed with hummingbirds thrumming overhead, and woke up to troops of Tamarin monkeys passing by our room - it’s just wonderful to be surrounded by so much nature. The guides, biologists and excursions all offer further opportunities to see more and understand more wildlife. Of course, nature will also visit you in your room, with bugs, geckos, frogs and bats frequent visitors - but this is why you come to TRC and not some other lodge...

“The experience was incredible. The eco tour, seeing a lot of wildlife from Caiman, sloth, monkey, tarantula, and a lot of different birds, we were very satisfied with the experience. The accommodations are a bit primative but nicer than we expected being out in the jungle. Food was very good,”

“Very nice place with excellent guides.”

“We had an allergy problem. My son is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts. We made the staff and gm aware if it right away. They have all good labeled but had a chicken dish that said chicken and fruit. Come to find out it had Brazil nuts in it. As my son was taking his first bite of chicken ( it was in his mouth). The staff ran out with a fresh piece of chicken and told him it had Brazil nuts in it. When we questioned the GM she said that Brazil nuts are not tree nuts which they are in fact....

“L’emplacement et activités sont tout à fait adapté à la région amazonienne”

“This hotel lists their location as downtown Puerto Maldonado. Actual location is 20+ minutes outside the town on a dirt road. Impossible to get taxi service to town. The additional trips for food for our Amazon excursions cost 60 soles each way. Driver said price is higher since you have long trip just to pickup client. Resort wanted to charge me for Dinner and Breakfast when my reservation stated both were included. Staff at resort were nice and understood our frustration with situation. When...

“Just wonderful.”

“Il proprietario Kenny e sua moglie e tutto il personale sono gentilissimi. La camera è molto bella e caratteristica la colazione e i pasti sono squisiti e locali peruviani molto buoni la hacienda è grande e piena di cose da fare e scoprire. Secondo è una tappa da fare assolutamente se si viene in Perù, a conoscere Kenny la sua famiglia il suo staff e la sua hacienda. Per le attività lui provvederà a consigliarvi e ad organizzarle lui stesso”

“Nice isolated hotel. Very relaxing and comfortable. Would have been nice if they had more vegetarian food choices. ”
